Part Time, 72.0 hours per fortnight

A fantastic opportunity exists for a motivated administrator with strong experience in health referral and scheduling systems to gain a Grade 2 position within our Central Intake team at BRHS.  

The Position:

In this role you will work collaboratively with the Central Intake team to ensure the appropriate collection and coordination of all key data related to the Health Independence Programs (HIP).  Key tasks include overseeing data quality, ensuring that reports are submitted in accordance with funding requirements and administrating the key health system software used within the team.  This position will provide support to the Central Intake Manager and leave coverage as required.

The Central Intake team provides coordination and administration support to the BRHS Health Independence Program, the Community Health Service, Home Based Nursing and Allied Health. 

Key criteria you need:

  • A qualification in Office Administration/Business (minimum Certificate III level)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in providing administrative support and data management in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience working within complex databases with the ability to produce accurate reports and funding information in accordance with service agreements and organisational needs.
  • Excellent knowledge of HMS & S2S systems (or similar) and the proven ability to support, maintain and develop these programs appropriately.  A good knowledge of Excel is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and provide guidance and support to team members to ensure an effective team environment.
