About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) has an exciting opportunity for a Dental Assistant to join our Warrnambool clinic in a full time permanent position. Dental Assistants provide direct chairside care to clients, following South West Healthcare and DHSV clinical standards and policies. The role will also assist with the administration of the clinic.

While this position is based at our Warrnambool clinic, travel to other South West Dental Service locations may be required. 

What you bring

  • Experience in Dental Assisting and administrative/reception skills
  • Demonstrated high level of clinical competence
  • Knowledge and understanding of required applications and procedures
  • Knowledge of dental public health principles
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting or willingness to obtain
  • Current motor vehicle licence
