Monash Health is seeking qualified Diabetes Educators to work across our sites.

About Us


Monash Diabetes is a large multidisciplinary unit, integrating with Community Health and local General Practitioner Divisions.  Diabetes management is primarily focused on the ambulatory care setting and the unit now has 21 ambulatory care services and 5 in-patient services across all ages and support needs.


About You


You are a qualified Diabetes Educator with a strong focus on patient centred care. You will have clinical experience in the acute hospital setting with patients with diabetes or current community management of diabetes patients and current experience as a nurse educator. Through your hard working and enthusiastic nature you have the ability to adapt to changing settings.

As an integral part of the organisation you are the face of the MH Bureau casual workforce and consistently demonstrate our core values.


What you need to have:



  • Postgraduate qualification in Diabetes Education

  • Current and full membership of ADEA

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Current Employee Working with Children’s Check

  • Proven relevant experience

  • Relevant working visa

Monash Health Bureau (MHB) is an efficient workforce unit that allocates over 500 shifts per day across Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Kingston Centre and Monash Children’s.  We deliver experienced nursing and midwifery staff to meet the demands of a multi specialised and fast growing organisation.
