The Director Clinical Safety and Quality is a pivotal role within Albury Wodonga Health, responsible for leading, directing and managing organisational functions that promote and support patient safety, clinical excellence and consumer experience. This role provides significant input into the development and oversight of strategic priorities, business plans, policy development, clinical services strategies, adverse event and risk management, consumer feedback and experience, and innovation and improvement activities. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity:

  • Registered Health Practitioner with current registration with AHPRA or professional association
  • Post Graduate qualification in an area such as clinical governance, health management, health policy or business.
  • Proven senior leadership experience in the implementation of clinical governance frameworks and programs in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
  • Highly developed leadership skills with the ability to influence thinking, drive change and cultivate strong relationships
  • Demonstrated success in managing and leading teams
  • Ability to provide high level advice to the Executive Leadership Team
