This exciting new role as a Digital Twin Victoria (DTV) Spatial Data Officer, will see you play an important role in helping the State of Victoria leverage digital data and technology to transform major project delivery and support the delivery the digital twin platform. In joining the DTV team, you will get to work alongside an energised and diverse multi-disciplinary team of domain experts, technical, commercial, and marketing specialists to help lay the foundations for DTV.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in geospatial sciences or computer sciences or equivalent professional experience is required
  • Experience in the management of spatial data and any of the following technologies is desirable: FME, QGIS, ArcGIS, geospatial programming languages.
  • Applied knowledge of key datasets used in Precinct Planning is highly desirable
  • Applied knowledge of 3D GIS and/or BIM data is highly desirable
  • Basic familiarity with the principles of design thinking, and/or lean and agile software delivery is highly desirable.

This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 June 2024.
