Located within the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, our Emergency Departments cater for a broad demographic with complex presentations. Emergency Department teams include a great mix of novice, emerging and established Registered Nurses and Critical Care nurses. The Emergency Departments work closely together, and in collaboration with leadership and learning and teaching, to grow our teams to be emergency specialist practitioners that focus on high quality, collaborative and safe patient care.
About the roles
Registered Nurse – experienced or qualified
We are seeking applications from experienced or qualified emergency nurses (Critical Care Registered Nurse - emergency stream), for full time or part time positions in Eastern Health Emergency Departments. As an Emergency Department nurse, you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, where you utilize highly developed critical thinking and communication skills to care for patients.
Entry to Emergency Department Learning Program
You will undertake a 12-16 week supported learning program that is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to work in the Emergency Department setting. This permanent (full or part-time) position will see you develop and provide you with the opportunity to progress to specialised transition to practice programs (TSP) including Post Graduate studies in Emergency Nursing Care.
You will be well supported by the Emergency Departments Learning & Teaching team along with the senior leaders.
