Monash Health Mental Health Program is expanding its Community Program and is looking for an Exercise Physiologist in a 0.5 EFT position to complement other new Allied Health Positions. We are seeking an Exercise Physiologist who is committed to providing best practice, evidenced based care to improve the mental and physical health of consumers through individual and group based programs. This  newly created position will assist the multi-disciplinary team in providing holistic support to mental health consumers, their families and carers.

  • Create and grow a new exercise physiology service to enhance the mental and physical health care of our consumers

About The Role


We are excited to announce this new Exercise Physiology role within the Clayton Community Adult Program. The Exercise Physiologist will be responsible for both individual and group based assessment and treatment programs, working with the multi-disciplinary team to enhance health outcomes for consumers, their families and carers.


This is a 0.5 part-time ongoing role working between Monday to Friday. (Days by negotiation)


About You:



  • You are an enthusiastic professional with a least 2 years experience post graduation

  • You are keen to implement a new service and work in a growing professional team

  • You have demonstrated experience in individual and group treatment, preferably working with people with mental health difficulties

  • You are genuinely passionate and highly committed to providing high quality evidence based care

  • You enjoy working as part of a team to create optimal outcomes for consumers, their carers and families


What You Need:



  • Relevant Qualification to work as an qualified Exercise Physiologist in Victoria

  • Eligibility for ESSA Accreditation

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years post graduation having worked as an Exercise Physiologist

  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence

  • Australian working rights
