Due to expansion, we have a vacancy on the Engineering Services Leadership Team. Reporting to the Director of Operations - Engineering, the 'Fire, Essential Safety and Project Works Manager' has full accountability for the completion of the deliverables and works plans, functioning and compliance of all Fire & Essential Safety Measures in Western Health. You will also be responsible for contractual compliance in the areas of: Contract Management, Fire Services and Project Management, including Building/Occupancy Permit related works.

There is a strong stakeholder relationship dimension to the role: internal customers, supply chain, and Executive / Government client stakeholders.

As part of the Engineering Services Leadership Team, you will be a part of the improvement of processes across the department, and play advisory role how we will develop and adapt to the changing needs of the organisation.

There is an exciting and challenging portfolio of Fire & Essential Safety Measures to successfully deliver, as well as the important leadership of this small but mighty team.

We are looking for you if you if you:

-       Have experience and strong interest in compliant Fire & Essential Safety Measures (FESM) and can talk to your knowledge of the regulatory requirements of this area

-       Hold a Fire Engineering qualification, and/or are experienced in working closely in Fire Engineering works

-       Are an experienced and/or qualified Project/Program Manager

-       Are interested in, and capable of, leading effective teams / managing staff

-       Are interested in a fast-paced, complex environment delivering essential public services to a diverse and demanding customer base.
