Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) is the major provider of specialist health services in the Gippsland region, east of Melbourne. Our comprehensive range of services extends to emergency and intensive care, elective surgery, allied health, obstetrics, medical and radiation oncology at the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre, dialysis and aged care.
The Gippsland Regional Palliative Care Consultancy Service is based at Latrobe Regional Hospital and works collaboratively with healthcare providers, patients and families / carers across Gippsland to ensure equity and access to specialist palliative care provision. We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified clinician to undertake the GRPCCS Project Worker role. The position is 40 hours per fortnight, fixed term for 6 months.
The GRPCCS Project Worker will facilitate the service’s alignment with Victoria’s End of Life and Palliative Care Framework (2018). A key focus will be improving the service’s engagement with key stakeholders and responsiveness to their needs.
Reporting to the General Manager Ambulatory Services the successful applicant will play a vital role in the ongoing development of the GRPCCS.
