We are seeking motivated individuals to join our dedicated team at WHCG as Health Care Workers. These casual positions are available for an immediate start and include working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. The successful applicant will support the independence and self-esteem of residents in our Residential Services with a person centred approach. This position will undertake a range of duties to assist in achieving the nutritional, physical and hygiene needs of residents.



Key Selection Criteria include:


Essential:



  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Computer literacy

  • Ability to prioritise and work effectively without direct supervision

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to provide person centred care

  • Assist clients with medication component preferable


 


Desirable:



  • Previous experience in residential care services

  • Current food handling certificate

  • Current Level 1 First Aid certificate
