Job Title: Housing Services Officer
About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is passionate to join our network of community workers that share a responsibility for working with vulnerable people to support their health and well-being whilst in public housing.Housing Services Officers play a vital role in delivering a client centred service to individuals and families who seek housing assistance or may reside in public housing. The role is varied and will keep you challenged undertaking a range of tasks relating to tenancy and property management and providing housing advice and assistance
The role will be responsible for tenancy and property management that is in line with the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA), ensuring awareness of tenant and landlord roles and responsibilities and always ensuring the public properties our clients reside in are of good standard.
What will you be doing?
No two days will be the same. One day you may be in the office doing administrative related tasks, or assessing clients' needs and providing advice on housing options, the next day you may be on the road conducting home visits, organising maintenance, liaising with vulnerable renters, helping people health issues, and connecting them to supports to enable them to thrive in their communities.
