(Warragul Linen Service)

12 Month Fixed Term Part Time – April 2024 to April 2025

Up to 24 hours per week

Managers & Administrative Officers Grade 4 (HS4) or Grade 5 (HS5)

$42-47 per hour with Salary Packaging options available


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the West Gippsland Healthcare Group in the role of the HR Consultant at our Warragul Linen Service (WLS) facility.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will work within a motivated and dedicated team that provides support to the Warragul Linen Service over a wide range of HR services, including but not limited to employee relations, policy interpretation and development, reporting, recruitment & selection, training, workforce management and a range of HR projects. This position will include working with the WLS leadership team to improve workplace culture.

This is a 12 month part time position of up to 24 hours per week with flexible days and hours. This stimulating role would suit an experienced HR generalist who is flexible, enjoys working within a team and is dedicated to providing great service to their client group. Further information is contained in the Position Description.

Our preferred candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
  • Demonstrated broad experience in the provision of a range of HR generalist services
  • Experience in improving workplace culture
  • Exceptional people skills and an ability to work with a wide range of people

 The following experience/qualifications would be also considered advantageous:

  • Previous experience within a production, factory or similar setting

IMPORTANT: All staff employed in the healthcare sector are required to be fully vaccinated (3 doses) for COVID-19 and influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
