Clinical Assistant - Intensive Care Unit
The Royal Melbourne Hospital is an award-winning health care service and is Victoria’s second largest public health service. We provide comprehensive acute, sub-acute, general, specialist medical and mental health services through both inpatient and community based facilities through the following services: The Royal Melbourne Hospital – City Campus, The Royal Melbourne Hospital – Royal Park Campus, North Western Mental Health, RMH Kidney Care Service and Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory. The Royal Melbourne Hospital is a world-class teaching hospital and one of Victoria’s largest Trauma Centres. ICU currently consists of 42 beds and provides care to over 3000 patients each year, including Cardiothoracic, Trauma, Neurosurgical, Oncology and Medical-surgical patients. The unit also supports patients within the precinct who may require Intensive Care Services including the Women’s and Peter McCullum Hospital as part of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Model of care.
