What You'll Do

The Infrastructure Technician (Carpentry & Building) provides general maintenance and carpentry services as part of the Infrastructure team at Cranbourne Gardens to maintain and develop hard landscape and built assets to agreed standards. You will maintain and repair equipment and assets, contribute to planning processes at Branch and Divisional level, and work both autonomously and within teams to deliver desired outcomes. Additional duties will include fire management tasks, costing jobs and observing all required OH&S practices. 

What You'll Bring

The successful candidate will have relevant trade qualifications in Carpentry/Cabinet Making and/or joinery or commensurate industry experience. You will have demonstrated experience in carpentry, infrastructure and asset maintenance of small projects/programs, using a range of construction and carpentry tools, machinery and equipment. You will be well versed in maintaining all types of hard landscape to high standards and meeting deadlines, always ensuring OH&S practices and procedures are accurately followed. 

An excellent communicator and technically savvy, you will be able to interpret building plans/drawings, provide accurate estimates and costings, and interact with both team members and members of the public in a friendly and professional manner. You take pride in your work and are now looking for a new opportunity to utilise your skills and experience.
