Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.

About the Role

The Junior Engagement Officer will assist the communications team, supporting the development and distribution of communication materials for the Case Management System (CMS) Project to support the implementation of the projects' solution. This is a support role; its focus is supporting the project with communications and stakeholder engagement activities.

Working within the CMS Project Team the successful candidate will report to the Senior Engagement Officer and work closely with other team managers, to support all communications activities.

The purpose of the Junior Engagement Officer role is to:

  • Assist with communication support activities as per agreed plans, on time, and to a high quality
  • Work with the Senior Engagement Officer to assist drafting all communication materials and distribute to external parties impacted by the project
  • Provide support with working party meetings and their preparation.

About You

  • Experience working in a busy environment and/or communications role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Highly computer literate with demonstrated experience in the MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Demonstrated experience either within complex organisations and/or a consulting/project environment is highly desirable.
