We are seeking enthusiastic Juniors to join our professional Leisure & Lifestyle team, to assist with the delivery of a meaningful Leisure and Lifestyle program to residents at Wimmera Nursing Home whilst showing empathy, kindness and respect. The successful applicants will facilitate one on one and small group activities, and assist residents and relatives to connect with each other through technology and communicate via scheduled video calls. These casual positions include working Monday to Friday after school hours with the possibility of some weekends. Please indicate your preference of hours in your application.

Essential



  • Innovative and creative thinker

  • Ability to build repour with the residents and team and show empathy, kindness and respect

  • Ability to follow and deliver activity program in line with a Person-Centred Care Model

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to work as part of an inter-disciplinary team

  • Commitment to customer service and a passion to make a difference

  • Excellent verbal and written skills with competent computer skills

  • Current employee police check


Desirable:



  • Experience in relating to aged members of the community

  • iPad & Computer skills
