About the role

Our Program Improvements and Investments team are looking for a Leader, Knowledge Strategy with strong coordination, leadership, relationship-building, influencing and strategic thinking skills to join their dynamic team. As the Leader, Knowledge Strategy you will work closely with the Project Leadership Team to develop and align strategic knowledge management and cultural change initiatives across the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), helping to position the Project as an industry leader in leveraging people, ideas, data and technology to drive operational performance improvements and continuous improvement across the program.

On a day-to-day basis, you will find yourself:

  • Driving LXRP’s progression to the next level of applied knowledge management maturity, enhancing innovative and sophisticated approaches to our leading infrastructure program.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and leverage opportunities across LXRP’s existing Knowledge, Insights and Tools (KIT) platforms.
  • Utilising your strategic thinking skills to pivot and find innovative ways to partner with people at all levels to foster a unified culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across the LXRP program.

About you

You are someone that understands our complex engineering and construction environment, preferably with experience working in an alliance. You are a confident communicator and influencer and are interested in how technology can enable and inform. You might be in a knowledge role now and looking for a change or step up in your career, or you may have transferable skills that you feel we should know about.

What skills do we expect you to have?

  • Demonstrated experience working in the delivery of major infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities including the ability to articulate objectives in digestible and engaging ways for a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills to obtain buy-in and engagement to influence outcomes and drive cultural change at the highest levels and across all disciplines.
  • Highly developed critical and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to make linkages between different disciplines and to understand sufficient detail to ensure that knowledge solutions meet overall Project outcomes.

At LXRP we embrace diversity and inclusion. We actively strive to remove barriers and encourage applications from people of any age, or disability, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders, culturally and linguistically diverse or LGBTIQA+. We will make adjustments to our recruitment process to ensure that you are able to participate to the best of your ability.
