Our opportunity

The Manager, Corporate Communications and Stakeholder Engagement will lead the development and implementation of plans to engage VGCCC stakeholders through a range of communication channels including digital, print and media. This position works in collaboration with senior executives, managers and the People & Culture Division to provide timely and trusted internal communications advice, ensuring staff are informed of key updates and issues to maximise organisational effectiveness.

Who we are looking for

To be successful in this position you will have:

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline;
• Proven experience at a senior level in communication and engagement activities, media or public relations gained from government or large services environment;
• Management experience in corporate or internal communications, stakeholder relations or community engagement with a demonstrated ability to prepare and implement strategies and communication plans in these areas;
• Ability to identify reputational issues and risks as they emerge and guide direct reports to produce quality communications materials including strategies.
