What You Will Be Doing
The Medical Workforce Team is responsible for medical workforce planning and the recruitment, selection, credentialing, appointment and on-boarding of junior medical staff (JMS) and contracting and on boarding of senior medical staff (SMS) across Peninsula Health.

The Senior Medical Staff Lead is responsible for providing guidance in operational activities related to recruitment and credentialing of SMS in Peninsula Health. The Lead assists in the day to day management and support, including supervision, training and development and performance management of the SMS cohort.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Demonstrated experience working in a similar position
• Proven ability to interpret and apply Enterprise Agreements and/or other industrial agreements, providing advice to management and employees.
• Experience in coordinating the recruitment process, with a solid understanding of the end to end process
• Ability to lead and advise on best practice recruitment and selection techniques
• A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds
• Positively and effectively contribute to a team environment.
• Experience in dealing with stakeholders where empathy and discretion is required.
