The Manager – Regulatory Compliance will lead a small team of regulatory experts, including external advisors, to provide advice on the key regulatory, compliance and governance frameworks that apply to Offshore Wind Energy Victoria (OWEV) and to Victoria's developing offshore wind sector.
The Manager and the Regulatory Compliance team will have an expert understanding of relevant State and Federal legislative, policy and governance frameworks that would apply to OWEV and offshore wind activities spanning Victorian and Commonwealth jurisdictions. The team will be required to be familiar with key regulatory frameworks spanning land, planning and environmental laws and regulations, energy transmission networks and market laws and regulation, and public and administrative laws, frameworks, and processes. The team will also be required to undertake horizon scanning to maintain Divisional awareness of local and global regulatory trends, issues and practices that might promote or impact delivery of the Offshore Wind program.
The Manager – Regulatory Compliance will work in close collaboration with the Regulatory Frameworks and Regulatory Engagement & Coordination teams within the branch, with other branches within OWEV, and with internal and external stakeholders across state and federal government departments, agencies and regulators.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2027. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, east Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
