The role of Manager Social Value (12 month contract) is an exciting and important one.  This is your chance to help shape the civil construction industry by developing strategies and initiatives to deliver enduring social and sustainable outcomes for Victorians.

• Working with your broader team to develop and implement strategies and initiatives to increase social procurement of goods and services and inclusive employment practices for MRPV projects
• Building strong relationships and collaborating with social enterprises, Aboriginal businesses, peak bodies and government stakeholders to assist MRPV in reaching positive social outcomes
• Ensuring that MRPV initiatives are met within the timeframe, are commercially sound and according to industry best practice.
• Being the driver of cultural change within MRPV and industry

You are an advocate for change, social impact and equality, and have strong values that influence your decision making on a daily basis. You are flexible and work with people to educate, learn and resolve issues – you can easily work in the grey area where there is no black and white policies to guide your decisions.

You will have previously worked in a similar role and have working knowledge of Victoria's Social Procurement Framework. Your ability to plan and deliver initiatives including project management and strong communication skills will be essential in this role.

You are able to build relationships with people on all levels and from all backgrounds – whether it's senior management or external construction contractors. You love taking a collaborative approach to things and gathering feedback to inform your decision making.
