The Governance Policy and Coordination group is responsible for overseeing Cabinet management, digital design and innovation, public sector governance, performance and reform, security and emergency management, cyber security, government shared services, strategic communications, engagement and protocol, the Victorian Centre for Data Insights and the department's corporate services.

An exciting opportunity for a Media Monitor exists in the Media Monitoring Unit within the Strategic Communication, Engagement & Protocol Branch.

The Strategic Communication, Engagement & Protocol branch (SCEP) leads a coordinated approach to communication, engagement and protocol across government.

SCEP has a key role in influencing and encouraging the delivery of modern and professional communication and engagement services and standards across government, and shaping Victorian Government communication strategy, policy and practice.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong written and communication skills and work effectively in a team environment. Previous experience in broadcast media monitoring would be highly regarded.
