2025 Medical Internships for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants
The Royal Melbourne Hospital has 2 dedicated Medical Internship positions available for applicants who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
In 2015, we introduced our Indigenous internships, with a commitment to promoting, developing and fostering improvements and opportunities for Indigenous Medical graduates, our Indigenous health workforce, patients and community.
All Victorian Medical Internship positions are part of the Allocation and Placement Service (APS) coordinated by the Post Graduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV).
It is important for all applicants to be familiar with the application process through BOTH the PMCV and Royal Melbourne Hospital.
All eligible Victorian and Interstate applicants are encouraged to apply, irrespective of priority group.
