About the branch

The Marketing, Communications and Partnerships Division oversees all marketing, tourism, visitor experience, partnership experience, digital, media, communications and public relations activities to support Parks Victoria. The focus of the Partnerships Directorate is to be responsible for all key activities related to tourism, internal communications, national and international engagement, education and interpretation, philanthropy, corporate partnerships and membership, across the Parks Victoria estate.

About the role and your responsibilities:  

As the Membership Coordinator, the primary focus of your position is to develop and enhance Parks Victoria's existing Nature First Supporters membership program, by increasing the number of people who support the organisation through this program and adding value back to the membership.

To be successful for this role you will need:

  • A post-graduate qualification in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant extensive experience and education/training
  • Experience in coordinating a membership program, managing both members and internal stakeholders
  • Well-honed skills in influencing, negotiating, motivating and communicating across a large complex organisation
  • A current employee Working with Children Check is required
