We are now looking for an experienced nursing professional to join us in an important clinical leadership role at Dandenong Hospital.  This is a full time, fixed term position until mid-December 2021.


About the Role


You will work closely with the Director of Clinical Operations to ensure the provision of safe and effective care to our patients.  Key elements of the role are to assist with the efficient management of the Intensive Care Unit and to play an active role in Accreditation during September 2021.  In addition, you will play an integral role in supporting staff and managing patient flow in order to optimise timeliness of care, and the achievement of organisational targets.


About You


Ideally, you have already proven your ability in a Nurse Manager role.  Alternatively, you are an accomplished Associate Nurse Manager, ready to put your leadership and management skills to the test. You lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence based nursing care to all patients.


You can demonstrate significant critical care experience and you hold a Post Grad in Critical Care.


Your work ethic is unquestionable, as is your self-motivation to succeed in everything you do. Your flexibility to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment will enhance your ability to provide exceptional leadership to your team.  Alongside your engaging manner, you have a positive work attitude, outstanding communication skills and a strong people focus, enabling you to engage effectively with patients, their families and team members alike.

What you need:



  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Previous demonstrated leadership experience

  • Critical care certificate is essential

  • Australian working rights
