Nurse Practitioner - Community Mental Health

Latrobe Regional Health is a leading provider of mental health services in Gippsland, dedicated to providing high-quality, patient centred care to our community.

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join the Wonthaggi Community Mental Health team on a full time, ongoing basis.

As Nurse Practitioner you will:

  • Use your expert knowledge in Mental Health to provide advanced clinical assessments, diagnostics, care and intervention to patients
  • Provide advanced leadership, clinical supervision and guidance to the team
  • Use your high-level knowledge and skills to progress clinical care, policy and collaboration throughout LRH
  • Actively contribute to the achieve of clinical governance and research activities
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including external stakeholders
  • Practice within the scope of the Nurse Practitioner Standards

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Experience within Mental Health
  • Clinical leadership that influences clinical care
  • Ability to work at an advanced practice level
  • Drive towards best practice to deliver positive and recovery-focused outcomes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
