About Monash Health Bureau

Monash Health Bureau is a large workforce unit that allocates over 450 shifts per day across Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Kingston Centre, Mental Health facilities and Residential areas.  We deliver experienced nursing and midwifery staff to meet the demands of a multi specialised organisation.

About the opportunities

We are now recruiting professional and skilled Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives and Enrolled Nurses to join our Nursing and Midwifery Pool as permanent part time employees to work a minimum of 32 hours a fortnight up to a maximum of 76 hours a fortnight.   Choose to work across our different sites and specialties including:

  • Acute Medicine - Emergency, General Medicine

  • Surgery and Interventional Services -Anaesthetics, General surgery, Neurosurgery, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Orthopaedic surgery, Monash Heart, Plastic surgery, Renal surgery

  • Speciality Medicine – Intensive Care, Coronary Care, Oncology, Palliative Care 

  • Sub-Acute - Aged Care and Rehabilitation, Residential Services

  • Community – Hospital in the Home, Post-Acute Care

  • Women's  - Birth Unit, Ante and Post Natal

  • Paediatrics, Casey, Dandenong and Monash Children's Hospital- Paediatrics, Intensive Care

You will have the ability to maintain a high level of communication with patients, visitors and colleagues enabling you to deliver exceptional care. You will be the face of Monash Health Bureau workforce and consistently demonstrating the core values of Monash Health.

About You

  • Experienced Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife or Enrolled Nurse with a strong focus on patient centred care and communication.

  • You will have the flexibility to work to a rotating roster which includes morning, afternoon and night shifts across Monash Health sites

  • You will be required to work across a minimum of three Sites at Monash Health.


  • Current AHPRA registration.

  • Current Employee Working with Children’s Check (or proof of payment for same).

  • Proof of up to date immunisation status record.

  • Proven relevant experience and/or qualifications.

  • Relevant working visa
