The Role:

The Occupational Therapy service at Northern Health prides itself on being inclusive, supportive and committed to evidence-based practice. We are a team driven by positive patient outcomes and team work. The NH OT service employs over 100 staff and are consistently striving to provide opportunitites to support staff growth and development.

 

Our Occupational Therapists work across many areas of practice including:

  • Acute
  • Sub-acute (rehabilitation, GEM and transitional services)
  • Home based services
  • Community Rehabilitation
  • Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and NDIS
  • Hand Therapy
  • Pediatrics (Neonatal ward and outpatients)

  • Experience and good working knowledge of inpatient and/or community settings of Occupational Therapy practice
