Western Health is seeking a suitably qualified Health and Safety professional to join our team.  The successful applicant will provide advice, training, consultation, monitoring and support to both key internal and external stakeholders.  You will be passionate about safety and injury prevention and must have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.


To be Successful in this Role you



  • Certificate IV in OH&S with relevant experience.

  • A detailed understanding of OH&S legislation/Regulations.

  • Demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively at all levels within a large organisation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write formal policies, procedures, performance reports and promotional material.

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare, deliver and oversee training.

  • Intermediate competence with computer and software systems (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

  • Proven ability to problem solve and access resources
