About the Role

The Oracle Cloud System Specialist will provide an on-going support and management of the Oracle Transactional business Intelligence reports, integrations and components within the Oracle SaaS products.

Position Outcomes

The role of Oracle Cloud System Specialist entails specialist technical expertise in maintaining Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BIP reports, interfaces and workflows using Oracle ERP cloud technologies. The position demands the design and implementation of customizations for Oracle Fusion applications, performance optimization and troubleshooting of Oracle Cloud Fusion applications. 

Additionally, responsiblities includes assisting in data migrations, addressing technical queries across vaious Oracle modules, collaborating with diverse teams to ensure project success and consulting on integration solutions with Oracle Integration Cloud. The successful candidate   will also maintain comprehensive documentation, support end- users during project phase and uphold safe, inclusive and adaptive team operations.

Key Selection Criteria

Knowledge And Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge in Oracle Technical for developing, troubleshooting, and managing BIP reports within Cloud and on-premises applications.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud PaaS platform OIC, custom applications and building integrations utilising BPEL, REST and SOAP webservices with variety of systems and end points.
  • Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher reports, PL SQL, GIT, ITSM (Service now), POSTMAN and SOAP UI Tools.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud Architecture, Oracle ERP and HCM data models.
  • Previous experience working in Oracle Financial, procurement and project modules.
  • Experience in estimating technical effort to design, build, deploy and test.
  • Experience in working with Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle HCM Cloud, other Oracle SaaS applications and 3rd party cloud applications.
  • Expertise in SQL, PL SQL, Groovy, and Service now.
  • Hands on experience in programming languages Java and Java script.
  • Basic understanding of OCI, IDCS, APEX, ORDS and VBCS.
  • Strategic Planning: Ensures that day to day planning and work processes are in line with team/organisation strategy; Identifies and develops own and team objectives linking strategies to actions to achieve these; Guides others in strategic planning process
  • Systems Thinking: Understands and can identify how own work is part of a system that connects to and interacts with other processes, people and structures.
  • Stakeholder Management: Responds to clients’ needs; Keeps the client or stakeholder up to date with issues and developments; Promptly follows through on inquiries, requests and complaints; Takes responsibility for correcting problems promptly.
  • Develop Capability:  Shares knowledge to support team capability development; Identifies and improves on own areas of capability for development; Provides constructive feedback.
  • Good problem-solving skills to identify the actual issue and provide appropriate solution.

Qualifications and Experience

Mandatory

  • Extensive experience in IT systems, Oracle PaaS and Oracle ERP.
  • Experience on a large ERP implementation project.
  • Experience designing and developing OTBI and BIP reports.

Desirable 

  • Relevant tertiary degree would be well regarded.
  • Certification in oracle cloud technologies
