An exciting opportunity exists for an Organisational Development Consultant on a fixed term basis in the People and Culture team.

The Corporate Delivery Services group encompasses Executive Services, Planning and Reporting, People and Culture, Information and Technology Services and Integrity.

The People and Culture team provide advice on a range of HR issues including recruitment, corporate induction, organisational change, learning and development, employee wellbeing, performance management and diversity and inclusion.

This role is responsible for supporting the development, delivery and management of Organisational Development projects and initiatives for the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) in line with its strategic objectives and priorities. 

The Organisational Development Consultant will support the Organisational Development team through analysis, advice, research, scoping, consultation, design and development of all initiatives that contribute to the strengthening the capability, wellbeing and development of DTF staff while creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce.

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  1. Demonstrated knowledge of organisational development and design methodologies including supporting development and implementation of programs that motivate employees and develop employee capability.
  2. Ability to develop, implement and evaluate a broad range of contemporary organisational development strategies, programs and operational practices to successfully support the strategic objectives of the business.
  3. Ability to use data and consult widely across the business to identify trends, patterns, issues and opportunities that impact the culture of an organisation, development of employees and contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture.
  4. Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders, peers and others to achieve organisation objectives and goals.
  5. Proven ability to be an effective member of a dynamic team, with proven communication and interpersonal skills.
