About Forest Ward at Monash Children’s Hospital, Clayton

Monash Children’s Hospital (MCH) cares for more than 100,000 children per year, providing care across the continuum of paediatric services from birth to 18 years of age. It is one of the largest children’s hospitals in Australia and one of only two tertiary paediatric hospitals in Victoria. MCH is co-located next to Monash Medical Centre in Clayton and is a purpose-built paediatric facility where clinical services will be delivered in a child and family-friendly environment.
Ward 3a Forest is one of three inpatient units at MCH we are predominately the Children’s surgical ward but also take medical and adolescent patients. Currently funded to be open to 28 beds with the potential to open to 32 inpatient beds.
About The Role
We currently have excellent roles for Paediatric Registered Nurses to join our team. You will be exposed to a vast variety of surgical interventions both pre and post Op as well as develop your clinical skills within a supportive environment. As a passionate, dedicated and accomplished Paediatric Nurse you will be responsible for seamless holistic patient care for both patients and their families.
We have Full and Part Time Ongoing roles working across a 24/7 rotating roster.

You are an experienced Paediatric Nurse you are highly committed to delivering exceptional care within a dynamic and varied environment. As a clear communicator you have the ability to build rapport with others, working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams.
