Clinical Pharmacist Grade 2 - Rotational
Permanent full time and part time hours available (please specify preference in cover letter)

About the role
This role involves the provision of high quality unit based clinical pharmacy services on a rotational basis including the opportunity to undertake credentialing for Partnered Pharmacist Medication Charting (PPMC) and other advance scope of practice programs. Possible rotations to operational services including dispensary, manufacturing services and Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC) may occur.

Professional development is supported through regular in-service education including journal club meetings and support for seminar/conference attendance. In addition, professional support is provided through team-based structures as well as formal education programs including SHPA Residency Programs.

Remuneration will be award-based according to experience.

Key responsibilities include active contribution to:

  • Provision of comprehensive clinical pharmacy services (assessment, intervention, advocacy and consultation) on a rotational basis
  • Effective patient flow principles
  • Mentoring and clinical supervision of pharmacy students, interns, foundation residents and other Grampians Health staff
  • Pharmacy and multidisciplinary team education programs

Skills and experience

  • Currently hold or be eligible for general registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
  • Prior hospital pharmacy experience is preferred
