The Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join the Hospital Admission Risk Program (HARP) / Complex Care team at Northern Health

The Grade 2 Physiotherapist will have a leading role in ensuring excellence in client care and education of staff, students and team. They will be involved in the evaluation and improvement of physiotherapy services as part of the Hospital Admission Risk Program (HARP) / Complex Care team.  This team is currently based out of Epping Private Hospital.

This role is Permanent, Part Time (0.61 EFT) working 46 hours per fortnight.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A background which includes significant clinical experience resulting in high level of skill in the delivery of physiotherapy services for patients with multiple comorbidities, complex needs and chronic conditions
• Experience managing patients in the community (centre based and home based)
• Demonstrated capability in service innovation and development
• Demonstrates leadership skills and initiative in developing and promoting clinical care
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Well-developed organisational and time management skills
• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
• Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution
• Experience in the management and education of undergraduate students and junior staff
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
