If you are looking to consolidate your Musculoskeletal skills, work with a fantastic team, and care for the people of the West, then look no further. Western Health has an opportunity for a full-time, temporary Grade 2 Physiotherapist within our musculoskeletal team January 2023.

You will undertake well-supported, and varied rotations across Western Health sites of Footscray, Sunshine and Williamstown. Our hospitals are at most a 30 minute drive from the CBD, and house one of the biggest growth corridors in Victoria.

You will build upon your excellent skills, and have the opportunity to work across multiple clinical areas including orthopaedic inpatients and outpatients (elective and trauma), fracture clinic, community based rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, and the Grade 2 training program. You will provide your expert guidance and leadership to junior physiotherapists, new graduates and students.

Western Health also delivers a broad range of Advanced Practice Physiotherapy services, and as part of our Musculoskeletal Grade 2 training program, participants will have the opportunity to build and develop skills relevant to these roles. In addition, there is opportunity for building upon leadership capabilities, gain experience in telehealth, research, and quality improvement activities.
