Austin Health is looking for an experienced Plastic Surgeon to join our team
Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across three campuses in the north-east of Melbourne (Australia) and state-wide. We are world-renowned for our research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.

About the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Unit
The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Unit specialises in microsurgical reconstruction for breast, head and neck cancer, as well as upper limb reanimation in tetraplegic patients. The unit manages a large number of general plastic surgery cases, including elective and post-traumatic hand surgery, facial trauma, melanoma and provides a broad reconstructive service to all specialties. There are more than 2,300 surgical procedures performed a year, including 100+ free flaps.
The unit consists of 15 attending Plastic Surgeons, 2 local Accredited Registrars, 2 local Unaccredited Registrar , 1 Fellow and 3 Residents.
