You will work in a flexible and supportive team to develop high quality, proactive policy advice to drive Victoria's circular economy. The Policy Advisor will support the development of high quality, proactive policy advice to drive climate action and build Victoria's circular economy. The Policy Advisor will work within a team to provide expert, authoritative and timely policy advice to the Minister, the Department's executive and other government departments.

We are looking for team players with strong critical thinking, task and program management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Experience in undertaking policy analysis and providing policy advice is desirable.
  • Experience undertaking engagement with stakeholders on policy issues is desirable.
  • An understanding of Victorian Government policy processes is desirable.
  • Tertiary qualification(s) in a relevant field are desirable.

There are three fixed term positions. The work location for these positions is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne / 2 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
