The Principal Solicitor role will report to the Director, Legal Services and will be embedded in the Disabilities and Communities Branch within the Children, Families, Community and Disability Division.
The Principal Solicitor – Royal Commissions will provide that Branch with legal and strategic advice and legal project management in relation to the State's response to the Royal Commission. It will interface with MinterEllison, the Legal Services Branch and other departments and agencies across the State to promote the preparation of high-quality legal and strategic advice to the Secretary, Ministers and Cabinet that supports appropriate and well-drafted government engagement with the Royal Commission.
