The Office of the Deputy Secretary fosters high performance business operating environment across the Energy Group. The Office is responsible for leading or coordinating a range of business functions including procurement, ensuring alignment with both DELWP and government priorities, policies and values.
The Procurement Specialist will provide expertise, advice and assistance relating to the Energy Group's procurement activities by supporting business units with the procurement process using the skills necessary to identify saving opportunities, creatively negotiate with suppliers, and generate contracts to ensure seamless availability of products and services needed to support departmental project managers and objectives.
If you focus on delivering value and minimising risk and have contract management and procurement experience with excellent communication, collaboration, and coordination skills this role would suit you well.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
This is a fixed term position available for a period until 30 May 2025. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
