About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Criminal Law leadership team to lead the planning and implementation of key Criminal Law projects and reform priorities, and embed processes to support and build our capability for evidence-based and client-centred service changes over the long-term.

The immediate focus of the role will be to support the Associate Director to lead the planning and implementation of service changes arising out of new funding initiatives and significant changes to criminal justice legislation (for example, the expansion of Drug Courts and Spent Convictions reforms).

About you:
You will be an experienced Project Manager with extensive experience developing, implementing and managing projects and/or service changes, preferably gained within the public legal sector. You will have experience in evidence-based service design or client-centred service design within complex operational and stakeholder environments. You will be results driven with a proven ability to deliver results in high impact and influential projects.

Crucial to your success in this role will be your highly developed stakeholder management skills and ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and build organisational capability and responsiveness. You will also demonstrate a strong commitment to VLA's vision and values.
