About the role:

This position will sit in the Clinical Governance and Innovation team, located within Victoria Police's Mental Health Centre of Excellence and Innovation. Reporting to the Senior Project Officer, the successful applicant will support and provide input into the following tasks:

  1. The development of a new Mental health Strategy and Action Plan
  2. The development of a Clinical Governance Framework
  3. Monitoring compliance with key performance evaluation criteria for the delivery of mental health services
  4. Monitoring compliance with standards and best practice frameworks
  5. Supporting the digital strategy and communication plan, for the organisation

Your duties will include:

  • Undertake auditing of clinical programs in line with standards
  • Prepare reports and analyse data from auditing
  • Support the Senior Project Officer in the development of digital health, strategic, and governance frameworks
  • Support mental health-related communications
  • Monitor dashboards

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Project management experience and a proven ability to scope and prepare documentation and reporting
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
  • Highly developed written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • An understanding of mental health within emergency services

Requirements and relevant information:

  • One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
  • This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
  • In accordance with organisational policy, all Victoria Police employees are required to be fully vaccinated (including a booster vaccination) against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exception.
