  • Location: Melbourne CBD/Negotiable An exciting opportunity exists to join the Health and Wellbeing Team in the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) as a Project Officer on a fixed-term basis.

This role will provide support and project management to the Joint Agency Peer Support Program, which is funded by Emergency Management Victoria (EMV) through the Wellbeing Grant Program. Sound knowledge and previous experience relating to health and wellbeing projects, health promotion or equivalent professional experience is desired. 

The Project Officer will provide project management and administrative support across all aspects of the program, including coordination and liaison with key internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills who is driven to make a difference.

Specialist/Technical Expertise

  • Completion of a qualification in health, safety and wellbeing, health promotion or equivalent professional experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the planning, implementation and management of a program of work requiring stakeholder engagement and consultation.
  • Knowledge and practical skills relating to health and wellbeing projects
  • Experience in emergency management or response favourable.

This is a fixed term position for a period of 18 months.
