The Supreme Court of Victoria is seeking a motivated, team focussed Project Support Officer to join its Registry Services’ Project Team for a fixed term contract of 6 months.

The Supreme Court of Victoria is the highest court in Victoria and comprises the Court of Appeal and the Trial Division. The Court deals with major criminal and civil matters, plus appeals against decisions of lower courts. The Court is undertaking a range of projects in line with the Court's vision to:

  • enhance accessibility for all users and ensure the Court's processes and services are delivered in an accurate, user-friendly and inclusive manner
  • adapt to changes in technology, business processes and community expectations in relation to service delivery.

The role of Project Support Officer is responsible for the provision of high-level administrative support to the Project Team, including document management and stakeholder liaison.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working under limited supervision, provide a range of high-level administrative support functions, including document management, arranging meetings and being a contact point for inquiries to the Project Team.
  • Monitor project action items to ensure deadlines are met and matters are attended to in a timely manner.
  • Support project managers with preparation of project documentation, including reports. 
  • Plan, coordinate and provide secretariat support to meetings, including the planning and preparation of agendas, distribution of meeting papers, and minute taking.
  • Assist with the development of draft project communications and prepare general correspondence and emails.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work cooperatively.
