Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse Educator

Centre for Mental Health Learning – North West Mental Health

  • Exciting fulltime short term opportunity to explore your passion for psychiatric enrolled nurse workforce development (ending March 2022)

  • We are a team working together to strengthen mental health workforce development

  • You will be part of a supportive, passionate, and experienced team

  • You will have the opportunity to shape and grow this relatively new role

Work collaboratively with other CMHL educators to provide leadership and support for Psychiatric Enrolled Nurses working in Victorian public mental health services. In collaboration with the team, this role will lead the planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of PEN workforce learning and development activities across the lifespan of mental health service delivery.

About you:

  • Draw on your extensive experience working in mental health services 

  • Respond to the workforce development needs, scope of practice, and other issues of the PEN workforce 

  • Utilise the knowledge gained from your Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or working towards completion) and/or from your industry experience in designing and delivering training 

  • Work effectively and efficiently in a team of CMHL PEN Educators

  • You will be a passionate and committed individual who values collective contribution and works from a values-based and strengths approach

  • Have experience in leading or contributing to projects and/or service development

  • Be able to demonstrate experience working with large and diverse groups of stakeholders

  • You are proactive and have a strong attention to detail

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
