North East Border Mental Health Service (NEBMHS) provides mental health care across the AWH network, including: Adult Community and Inpatient; Older Persons Community and Inpatient; Youth Early Intervention; Child and Adolescent Community; and Integrated Primary Mental Health.
NEBMHS is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Psychiatrist to provide a contemporary and innovative model of patient care. The successful applicant will provide
leadership to the multidisciplinary team, and offer clinical support to the Psychiatric Triage Service. This is a full-time position with participation in an appealing on-call roster.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with extensive clinical experience to provide expertise and indispensable leadership to drive and mould an evolving service.To be eligible for this position, you must have current Specialist registration or be eligible with AHPRA. Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry OR a “substantial comparability” assessment from RANZCP.
