What key qualities are we looking for?
Psychologists / Provisional Psychologists provide comprehensive services to schools and schools aged students, to enhance developmental and learning outcomes and support student health and wellbeing. This can encompass a broad range of areas including learning issues, cognitive issues, behavioural issues, disabilities, mental health, school and work transitions, self-esteem, grief and loss, trauma, anger management, relationships, conflict, sexuality, and drug/alcohol involvement.
Expert advice: You will be required to provide advice that will influence the development of teaching and learning strategies and student wellbeing programs for school leadership teams to embed in their practices.
Communication: We are looking for someone with highly developed communication, networking and interpersonal skills as liaison with a range of people in the education community and beyond is a regular activity.
Flexibility: The ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and the capability to work autonomously when required are key qualities we are looking for.
Expert interventions and collaboration: You will have the ability to undertake advanced interventions that support students and schools, work collaboratively with other professionals on complex cases, including supporting teachers in the development of educational programs to improve student learning, particularly for students with additional needs.

Required: Required: Eligible for Full or Provisional Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA). A current Australian Drivers' Licence and Working with Children Check.
