Gardenvale Primary School is located on two campuses in a residential area of Brighton East. Its current enrolment is 617 students. The school offers the with key learning areas in classroom and specialist program.
Ability to carry out assessments, cognitive and learning difficulties assessments, ADHD and ASD screening and to then provide recommendations.
Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing evidence-based intervention strategies for children with a range of mental health issues, including the direct counselling of students, applying sound theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.
Highly developed communication, networking and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team within and educational setting and to work holistically to support staff, students and their families.
Demonstrated highly-level skills in the coordination and completion of short-term psychological counselling services.
Clear understanding of the legislative requirements regarding privacy of health information.
Manage the delivery of support services to students, teachers, parents and other school clients.
Ensure all external providers deliver the required service.
