 About the role

South West Healthcare's (SWH) Warrnambool Community Health team are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Psychologist with a minimum 5 years' experience in relevant acute/community setting to provide comprehensive psychological expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Position focuses on ensuring a biopsychosocial model of person centred care is being provided to clients living with persistent and chronic pain. The role will also participate in individual and group educational sessions for clients living with persistent or chronic pain.

  • This is a Permanent, Part Time position (16 hours per fortnight).

What you bring

You will be currently registered with AHPRA with tertiary qualification/s in a related health discipline and a minimum 5 years' relevant experience. Applicants must have a high level of knowledge and skills in assessment, planning and implementation of services, and a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment. Effective communication skills, a working knowledge of community based support networks and services and advanced skills in time management, planning and priority setting, are also required for the position.
