We are looking for an exceptional Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join the Digital Branch as part of the Single Digital Presence (SDP) team.

SDP is a web transformation program that is consolidating government websites and making it easier to find, understand and use Victorian government information online.

The QA Tester will be responsible for:

  • testing in an agile environment focusing mainly on manual test creation and execution
  • providing advice and recommendations on all aspects of the testing process
  • engage in exploratory techniques and work beyond what is indicated in test scripts.

As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • expert knowledge of non-functional and functional testing activities and user acceptance testing 
  • working knowledge of performing testing functions within Agile development teams
  • expertise in web development and open source technologies
  • working knowledge of content management systems
  • at least 5 years' experience working in QA with manual testing and strong exploratory skills highly regarded
