An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Radiologist to join our Radiology Department


Details of position:



  • Role: Radiologist with Interventional Radiology and Interventional Neuroradiology expertise

  • Hours per week: 20

  • Employment Status:  Permanent part-time

  • Appointment Period: available for commencement from mid September 2021

  • Additional Notes:

    • Required working days = Mondays and Wednesdays (10hrs p/day)

    • Participation on the Interventional Neuroradiology On-call Roster

    • Roster as per Medical Weekly roster - inclusion of one rostered fornightly session for elective INR




The Radiologist will work across various functions of the Radiology service at Austin Health, providing CLinical Radiology, Interventional Radiology (IR) and Interventional Neuroradiology (INR) services during business hours. The Radiologist will also be required to participate in the INR on call roster.


To be successful for this role you must:



  • Be a registered Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

  • Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology (RANZCR) or equivalent

  • Have appropriate trainig and experience applicable to the fields of Interventional Radiology (IR) and Interventional Neuroradiology (INR) and meet RANZCR Range of Practice Requirements for both extended scopes of clinical practice.
